Kwai Cikin Kaya Part 1 Complete Hausa Novel

They applauded for him, and another person raised his hand and was given the chance to speak. He too declared his support for Jawaad’s statement. After him, two more people voiced their allegiance before another man stood up. When he was granted permission to speak, his face was tense, and he flared his nostrils as he let out a breath and said:

“This suggestion of his is completely out of order. He should be challenged. Right from last night, barely ten minutes after the incident happened, he was sent there with some security officers. Yet we are being told that no further progress report was obtained, even though in the few minutes they went there, the commissioner could not have gone that far. All he said was that he could not handle it and that someone else who could should be found. If that is the case, then because of this very case, the Civil Defense Corps is facing a serious threat of losing its dignity and causing the public to doubt us even more.”

Everyone simply looked at him, while the senior officials nodded in agreement, along with a few of the other officers.

As for Jawaad, he did not move at all, nor did he even look at the man who had just finished speaking. He only released a calm, dignified smile that revealed the two dimples in his cheeks.

Jawaad’s smile troubled Qaseem Ali deeply, but on the other hand, he also felt some satisfaction in his heart, seeing that his words seemed to have caused confusion. It got to the point where the officers appeared to be splitting into camps: some supporting Jawaad Abdul’aziz Yusuf, and others siding with Qaseem Ali’s argument.

In no time, murmuring and heated discussion spread across the meeting room until they had to be sharply silenced.

Qaseem Ali smiled when he saw Jawaad hold his head, and then his face hardened again, a sign that he thought Jawaad was upset. That had been his greatest aim all along.

But his thoughts had not told him the truth, because in reality, it was the noise that broke out in the meeting room that worsened the pounding headache Jawaad was suffering from due to not getting enough sleep the previous night. On top of that, there had been the heavy rain that battered them the night before, and he had already returned home very late before he was called again about Kokino’s kidnapping.

The room fell silent after the warning that had been given. Then one of the leaders spoke:

“We do not need any arguments here. Everyone knows who JAY is when it comes to hard work. This is not the first time he has been given such an opportunity and solved it. Every case comes with its own confusion and complications. Therefore, at this point, we are appointing Jawaad Abdul’aziz Yusuf as the officer in charge of this case, and we are assigning Qaseem Ali as his assistant. You have the authority to assemble a team of 30 officers to support you. We hope you will give us real results, restore our dignity, and rescue Alhaji Sadi within a short time, so that our weakness or failure will not be seen.”

From the moment he began speaking and Qaseem heard his name mentioned as JAY’s assistant, the brightness on his face disappeared completely, and the same happened to his supporters. As for Jawaad, he did not even raise his head, let alone show what state he was in.

They continued discussing the matter for almost an hour, and during that one hour, Jawaad found himself under great strain. When the meeting ended, he asked permission to go home and rest, even if only for three hours.

There was no argument about it; he was granted permission immediately, because his condition clearly showed that he was badly in need of rest.
