Kida A Ruwa Part 3 Complete Hausa Novel

At Mammah’s house, they were all in great distress over Ruƙayya’s condition. She had become completely unstable, her body burning with a terrible fever, and she kept vomiting. A doctor was called to examine her, and he confirmed that it was due to emotional distress, and that even her heartbeat had changed badly. He insisted that she had to be taken to the hospital. So that was what they did. Ammar carried her completely to the car. Yaya Bilal drove. Ma'aruff, Ja'afar, and Mammah followed in another car, because Mammah said she could not stay at home.

As soon as they arrived, emergency treatment began. What worried them even more was that after two hours, the sleeping injection they gave her still had no effect on her. And there was nothing they needed more at that moment than for her to sleep. The only name she kept calling was Ninah’s. It was only with great difficulty, and with the prayers Mammah kept reciting over her, that they finally managed to get her to sleep. By then, it was around 2:30 in the night.

Ja'afar and the others could not bring themselves to leave the hospital. Then, by Allah’s will, around that same time, Dada’s call came through on Bilal’s phone. He had called to ask whether Mammah had at least gone to bed well, but instead he heard the exact opposite of what he expected. He paused for a few seconds before saying,

“Which hospital?”

Bilal told him the name of the hospital. Dada said nothing else and ended the call.

He came out from the private room he had entered. Imran and the others, who had been busy working, all looked up at him.

“Faro, among the officers you gathered, send ten of the plainclothes men to KK Hospital. Forward Ma'aruff’s number to them.”

“Did something happen?”

That was Imran, staring at him. Briefly, Dada replied, “Ruƙayya is unwell.”

With that, he turned and went back inside.

Imran also returned to his work, but Faro picked up his phone and began trying to contact one of the undercover officers he had assembled, without anyone knowing that the man was his relative...

“What!”

he shouted in shock and disbelief, springing to his feet as if a scorpion had stung him on the waist. The others also stared at him in alarm, each one waiting for more explanation. Mr. Specter looked at Oga Jush, his lips trembling, and said,

“So you mean you know they’ve opened the way, Oga?”

There was no one in the entire meeting room who did not look alarmed, instead of happy or relieved. Black Spider said,

“There is a problem somewhere. Zak-Shadow is not a madman, is he?”

“Of course he is not mad,” Viper said in agreement. “Even his boldness would not allow him to do what we want in just ten hours.”

Scythe said, “Then what does that mean?”

No one had the answer, so they all fixed their eyes on Oga Jush, who had still said nothing. But he gave no sign that he would speak for a full three minutes. It was only after he had finished drawing deeply on his cigarette that he finally spoke.

“He is not mad, and he is not afraid. But he had to do it for two reasons. The first is Imran. He is the one who will force his hand so that the girl will be returned, and the authority over the army house is now only in Imran’s hands, since he himself has not returned to duty. The second is that he LOVES her. That shows that on the day he went to the station over their school case...”

He drew in a breath, trying to light another cigarette. That gave Iron Fang the chance to say,

“But Oga, don’t you think he might be doing this with some hidden plan underneath?”

Oga Jush twisted his mouth.

“That thought of yours is shallow, because he works with cunning more than with mere intelligence. But do not let that worry you. Give her the injection that will break the state she is in. Tonight, take her to where our next plan is. Put her into everything within the remaining hours. It will be a hand receiving, hand giving exchange, and it will happen within only the last five minutes.”

“What! Oga, you mean we are really going to release this girl to him now?”
