ZAINAB IDRIS MAKAWA
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. I thank Allah, the One, who has granted me the opportunity to begin this book. Father, I ask You that just as we began it, may we finish it in happiness and in the enjoyment of one another.
My brothers and my beloved ones, I keep asking you for patience, and you should be patient with staying together with us so that we can remain together and get used to one another, with the hope that we will understand each other. You will need to bear with me a little more, because from the very beginning, I am now going to combine two ropes in one mouth at the same time.
Not for anyone else, I did this for you, my beloved ones who love me always. Your happiness is our happiness, because I do not make you and me dance at all times.
The story’s messenger is the Lord, may He make us and our children benefit from it. O Allah, amen.
This is only the third part so far; I have not added more yet. If you want, you can contact me online, because for now I am only using text, as calls are difficult for me to receive at the moment.

Slowly, she descended the stairs of the Nigeria Airways plane that had landed at Malam Aminu Kano Airport.
Her face was covered with black glasses, and she wore a mask over her face. Behind her were two young men who strongly resembled her and were following behind her.
She was wearing a long black gown, with a scarf draped over her head, and the shoes on her feet were flat, with very little heel.
She was carrying a handbag in her hand, not very large, but moderate in size.
At a glance, you would know she was a wealthy woman, because the way she dressed alone was enough to show that.
That was Hajiya Iyami, the wife of the former Ambassador of the United States who represented Nigeria from 1986 to 1993.
Slowly, she closed her eyes before opening them again to look at the condition of her homeland, which had now become something to behold.
Despite the long years she had been away from the country, that did not stop her from seeing some of the things she had left behind during the years she spent away.
With amazement at the state of her country, Nigeria, in her heart, she continued descending the airplane steps slowly, though the condition of the country did not stop her from wanting to return to her ancestral home and live there with her family.
Easy, one of the young men behind her, spoke up, seeing how she kept looking around with surprise, since there had not been any significant development in the country at the time she returned.
Since her husband left office, she had been there with her family in Canada, where she also worked for a company, and that kept her very occupied and away from home.
Now she saw that it was fitting to return home to her relatives and loved ones whom they had left behind, for no reason other than to raise her children and grandchildren, who were now growing up.
Because of the widespread immoral behavior that now fills the world, she saw our upbringing under the Hausa scholar as different from the upbringing of other peoples of the world today.
For the Hausa scholar considers culture to be religion to a great extent, especially what that religion has taught us.
Despite the corruption of the world now, the Hausa scholar has tried to improve certain forms of upbringing so that they become almost like religion in his view, which benefits society now.
That was why she had decided, without sitting down to consult anyone in her current position as the overall head of the house, to return to Nigeria.
She had faced no small amount of shock from her children and grandchildren when they heard that she intended to return home to Nigeria.
That made her close her eyes and insist on her dignity toward everyone by the command she gave; she was not begging them.
Hajiya Iyami did not tell anyone until everything had been fully prepared, in the way she wanted everything to be ready for her when they returned.
From arranging the house to the company and the rest of life’s necessities, she had already completed everything so that things would go smoothly for her when they arrived, without them suffering any hardship, since their money was available and she had spent it on preparing everything exactly as she needed it.
Up to now, by the will of Allah, they had gathered and returned to Nigeria to settle there, while all her people were upset in their hearts because they felt she had separated them from the life they were used to and brought them now to a country whose darkness and ignorance had spread everywhere.
Alhamdulillah, on Hajiya’s side, since everyone in her family—men and women alike—could not disobey her when it came to her needs, whenever she spoke.
That made the matter much easier for her, because she did not face any resistance from any of them except her eldest son, whom she had brushed aside because of the nature of his work there; he had been living in China ever since he finished his studies, where he worked with them.
She had complete confidence in his faith, because she had assessed him and saw that he was steadfast in his religion and remained upon the upbringing they had given him from the beginning.
That was why she agreed to leave him where he worked, and now we can say he was the one carrying the responsibility for everyone in the family, because he could operate computers and had other modern technical skills. China had employed him, and he was working there with them, as well as with some modern manufacturing companies.
