Two young men were sitting together in a bedroom, along with a girl who was slightly older than them—their elder sister. One of them looked at the younger one and said,
“Anty Sofi said it has to be you who will help Anty Mubina get close to him. As for me, even though I’m younger, I can still do whatever she wants—let alone you.”
“Hm, Zeemama, you won’t understand,” Anty Sofi replied. “Honestly, the eldest brother is very hard to deal with. I swear, even if you stood right in front of him, he wouldn’t notice you—he has never even looked at me. And he only returned recently; we didn’t even go to greet him, let alone try anything.”
Anty Mubina sighed deeply before saying, “Alright, then. Just make sure that whenever you go to greet him, you do it properly, please. Sofi, you know me—I have no other desire right now except to possess Lieutenant Musayyeer. And I have no other opportunity to make that happen except through you. If this doesn’t work, I’ll change tactics, but let’s try this first. Even if he’s your brother, I swear I’ll taste the sweetness of that guy.”
(A scene containing explicit sexual actions is omitted here.)
Asokoro
They were all sitting in the parlor chatting, but this time Fawan and Maheer were absent; each was in his own home. Only Mami, Hajiya Kaka, and Fa’iz were present.
Mami looked at Hajiya Kaka and said, “Mama, I haven’t seen Mamana since earlier. Where did she go? She hasn’t even eaten.”
“Hm, you’ve seen nothing yet, Rukayya,” Hajiya Kaka replied, smacking her lips. “If it’s Failusha you’re talking about, you know her habits.”
Mami stood up and said, “Let me check, before hunger gets to a girl like that.” She went straight to Failusha’s room and found her sleeping on the bed.
Mami smiled before waking her, because even in her sleep Failusha was dreaming of Lieutenant Musayyeer—pouting her lips confidently and moving them as if speaking, though no words could be heard.
When Failusha opened her eyes and saw Mami, she smiled beautifully, making Mami say, “Masha Allah, tabarakallah bi ahsanil khaliqin. Truly, Allah has blessed me with beautiful children—both the men and this one woman entrusted to me. May Allah bless all your lives.”
“Why are you smiling, Mami?” she asked softly.
“It’s nothing, my dear. Get up, brush your teeth, then come and eat—you must be hungry.”
She was about to speak when Mami added, “Don’t say anything. Just get up and do it.”
That made her rise reluctantly and head toward the toilet, still pouting.
